The MS Arion was constructed in 1965 at Pula , in Croatia , as “Istra”. Purchased by Arcalia Shipping, the ship was completely reconstructed in Lisbon in 2000. The Arion has Portuguese and other European Officers and international crew. Her size and characteristics makes her well appointed to operate destination cruises to unusual places away from the main cruising areas.

Traditional English breakfast is served in the dinning room or, weather permitting, in our Lido lounge, where during lunch you can savour some fresh pasta, light salads, international cuisine or healthy choice that reflects modern tastes; afternoon tea, delicious finger sandwiches and warm scones with Devon-clotted cream and jam and a wide selection of teas. Dinner is a culinary experience with a balanced menu to please even the most difficult diets.
